Disney has officially announced a significant refurbishment for the beloved “Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure” attraction at Disneyland Paris. The ride, a fan favorite since its debut, is set to undergo four major changes that promise to enhance the guest experience. The announcement has generated considerable excitement among Disney enthusiasts, who are eager to see the classic attraction in a new light.

The most notable change is the ride’s transition from 3D to 2D. This decision was made based on extensive guest feedback and testing. The removal of 3D glasses is expected to offer a more comfortable and streamlined experience for visitors. In addition to this technological shift, the attraction’s video projectors will be replaced with state-of-the-art models to ensure optimal visual quality.

The changes are not just limited to the ride’s technology. The queue will be enhanced with a brand-new scene depicting a Parisian artist’s studio, complete with detailed props like canvases, paint splatters, and a fruit basket, adding to the immersive Parisian atmosphere. Inside the attraction, guests will be treated to new, larger-than-life props and set pieces designed to further enhance the feeling of being shrunk down to the size of Remy.

The refurbishment is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with the ride expected to reopen in the spring of 2026. While these changes have been confirmed for the Disneyland Paris attraction, there has been no official word on whether the sister attraction at EPCOT in Walt Disney World will receive a similar update.

These enhancements are part of a broader transformation of the Walt Disney Studios Park, which will be renamed Disney Adventure World. The park is also set to welcome the highly anticipated “World of Frozen” in 2026.

For more information on the changes and to plan your visit, you can check the official Disneyland Paris website.
